Birmingham Rathbone Target Supported Employment work with unemployed people who have learning difficulties, assisting them into sustained employment.

Support is available for people aged 16 to 65 who have learning difficulties.

Services available

All services listed below are available free of charge:

• Personalised coaching to help individuals with confidence, motivation and self esteem
• CV preparation
• Job search support
• Help with job application forms, interview skills, interview support
• Job coaching to teach all aspects of a specific job
• Assistance with work related benefits
• Specialist information and guidance
• When individuals have found a job we continue to provide ongoing training and support
• Benefits advice
• Work trials, work experience and volunteering opportunities

Opening hours

Birmingham Rathbone Target Supported Employment is open five days a week, Monday to Thursday 8.30am till 4.30pm and Friday 8.30am to 3.30pm.

Where appropriate appointments can be arranged at outreach venues. Home visits can be arranged when an individual’s health or disability prevents them from visiting our Jewellery Quarter centre.
