About the groups
There are five Carers Support Groups that each meet once a month in a different location within the BEN PCT area. The groups offer friendly, informative and confidential support for carers; by carers and staff.
Please find a brief description of each group and details of times and locations below.
Erdington
This group welcomes all types of Carers and is lively and friendly. The group also enjoys support from local Social Workers.
The group meets on the 2nd Tuesday of the month, 11am - 1pm.

Kingstanding & Oscott
This is a new and growing group, which is supported by Age Concern and a very helpful Social Worker from Adults and Communities; open to older and younger carers.
The group meets on the last Tuesday of the month, 1pm - 2.30pm.

Washwood Heath
This is a small. friendly group for all types of Carers in the local community.
The group meets on the 1st Wednesday of the month, 11am - 12.30pm.

Yardley
This group is a a very established but ever welcoming group, open to all carers.
The group meets on the 3rd Monday of the month, 1.30pm - 3.00pm.

Erdington Parent Carers Group
The fifth group is run by Midland Mencap for Parent Carers, with some support from Carers Support BEN PCT. The group welcomes all carers of children and adults with learning disabilities.
The group meets the 1st Thursday of the month, 11.30am- 1.30pm.
