Dress for Success
Why 'Dress for Success'?
Research has shown that it takes less than 30 seconds to form a lasting impression and it can take up to 21 repeated occasions for someone to alter a disappointing first impression. So it is vital we make our first impression count.
Maybe you've got that job interview - well done! Or maybe you have a meeting with the bank manager or a Social Services representative and want to make a good impression. You may be panicking over what you will wear in order to put forward a good impression. Your caring role means that you probably struggle financially and can spare little time to browse the clothes shops. If this is the case, then Dress for Success is for you.
What Resources are Available?
The Library, in conjunction with Image Consultant, Louise Boss, has arranged a collection of books in the Arts, Languages and Literature Service – Fashion Collection.
