About Essential Care

Essential Care was established in 1996 by Jenny Bleby and offers an alternative approach to stress relief and relaxation.  Jenny is a holistic therapist who practices Aromatherapy, Reflexology and Indian Head Massage.  She is a member of the International Council of Holistic Therapists and the Federation of Holistic Therapists. 

Jenny has 15 years experience of working with carers and she understands the additional stresses that arise when you are caring for someone.  Jenny is therefore delighted to offer carers a discount on the standard charge of the treatments she offers.  She is also happy to negotiate home visits free of charge within a 7-mile radius of her premises in Kings Heath, Birmingham.  
 

Holistic Treatments Offered

Aromatherapy

Aromatherapy is a wonderfully relaxing complementary therapy using pure essential oils and body massage to restore energy levels and aid natural healing.  
Benefits include relief from stress, nervous anxiety, muscular aches and pains, skin complaints, scar tissue, menstrual problems, insomnia and many others.
Carers can enjoy a full 1-hour aromatherapy session for £25 (a £5 saving on the usual cost of £30).

Reflexology

Reflexology induces deep relaxation by applying pressure to specific areas of the feet positively affecting the nervous system.  
It has many benefits; it reduces stress, improves circulation, cleanses body of toxins and impurities and stimulates natural healing. 
Carers can enjoy a reflexology session for £20 (a saving of £5 on the usual cost of £25).

Indian Head Massage

As the name suggests, Indian Head Massage is a relaxing massage focusing on the head, neck and shoulders improving blood supply to nourish the tissues and aid healing.
Benefits include: helps to stimulate and improve lymphatic drainage from head and neck, relieving eye strain, headaches, tinnitus, sinusitis, congestion and insomnia. It also relieves muscle tension, aches and pains. 
Carers can enjoy an Indian Head Massage for £18 (a saving of £4 on the usual cost of £22). 

Jenny has also worked with the MS Society and has also previously volunteered her skills at St Mary's Hospice.  Jenny may therefore be able to provide therapy sessions to the person you care for as well - please discuss your requirements with Jenny.
