About the Course

Are you a Carer whose GP is in South Birmingham?
Would you like to learn new skills?
Would you like to take more control of your life?

The Looking After Me course is designed specifically for Carers and looks at:

      • Relaxation techniques
      • Dealing with tiredness
      • Exercise and Healthy eating
      • Coping with depression
      • Communicating with family, friends and professionals
      • Planning for the future


It was almost like someone gave me permission to think about myself and what I wanted

The group worked. It was two way – I gained and I could also give

 

The course is free and runs for 6 weeks (1x3 hour session per week including lunch and refreshments).  Courses are run according to demand, so if you feel the course will benefit you and your GP's surgery (or that of the person you care for) is in South Birmingham, then please register your interest - see contact details below.
