Looking After Me - Birmingham East & North

About the Course

Are you a Carer?
Would you like to learn new skills?
Would you like to take more control of your life?


The Looking After Me course is designed specifically for Carers and looks at:

      • Relaxation techniques and physical activity
      • Coping with difficult emotions e.g. anger, frustration, guilt and worry
      • Communicating with family, friends and professionals
      • Dealing with tiredness
      • Planning for the future
      • Healthy eating

Looking After Me is led by trained tutors who themselves have experience of caring for a relative.

The course runs for 6 weeks and includes free lunch and refreshments.  
NB: It does not matter where you live - this course is available to all Carers, regardless of post code.

There are two courses starting soon.

The next course starts on Friday 30th May 2008

It will run at the same time every Friday 10:30am - 1:00pm until 4th July 2008.
