Welcome to My Time

My Time is an independent company established by experienced psychologists and educationalists. We have 2 divisions:

  • My Time specialises in researching, designing and delivering therapeutic learning programmes.
  • We have also set up and manage a multi-cultural counselling register within the West Midlands region.

More about My Time

Our programmes and services are targeted at local residents, employees, students, and are designed for people who are going through changes in their lives and need support to move forward. Many of our programmes and services are commissioned by local authorities, government agencies, employers, the voluntary and community sectors.

We also deliver programmes for professionals who work within the community giving advice, guidance and counselling. We specialise in group work that combines personal and community development.

Counselling Services

Counselling is a process that enables you to talk about your problems or difficulties in your life in a safe environment. Counsellors help you, through talking, to manage your life better by changing the way you respond to difficulties.

My Time administers a register of qualified and experienced counsellors based in the West Midlands. My Time can locate an appropriate, culturally sensitive counsellor who will be able to help you with your specialised needs.

A My Time Counsellor will help you to tell your history and to explore how you feel about your situation. This will enable you to understand yourself and your life better. You may then choose to take action to make changes in your life.

My Time Learning

Self-esteem is a vital ingredient in learning. In a world where one in four people suffers from depression or related emotional and mental health problems at some point, My Time has developed ways for participants to explore with others in a safe, community-based environment.

My Time courses benefit anyone who is disadvantaged in society by creating a virtuous circle, allowing participants to build self-esteem through learning and learn more as a result of increased self-esteem. My Time uses creative media such as clay and photography, and gives participants access to instructors and experts in a range of fields allowing them to make progress in creative activities and in other areas of their lives.

My Time helps participants to change their own negative views of themselves, and supports them in changing other people’s views as they progress.
