Birmingham Passport to Leisure (PTL) Card
Did you know that Carers are entitled to hold a Birmingham Passport to Leisure Card (PTL card)? The card is an easy to use, instant access card that provides savings on City Council leisure activities in Birmingham to a wide range of concessionary groups including Carers.
For as little as £4 a year (for Birmingham residents), the card is welcome at over 60 leisure facilities in Birmingham and will help the holder save money on many activities including aerobics, gym, badminton and football to name a few. In fact, the cardholder is entitled to 50% discount during general swimming sessions at all times. For most other activities, there are off-peak discounts (up to 50% maximum) available Monday - Friday until 5pm and after 1pm on Saturday and Sunday. Other organisations offer discounts at their discretion.
You do not need to live in Birmingham to get a card – the fee for non-Birmingham residents is currently £15 a year.
The PTL card can be a passport to a more active and rewarding life without huge expense and without regular commitment, enabling Carers to face their caring responsibilities increased energy.
