Books for Loan through Opening Doors for Carers

This is a quote from Hugh Marriot, the author of 'A Selfish Pig's Guide to Caring'. At Opening Doors for Carers, we understand this. We also understand how difficult it can be to take the first step to start to think about yourself and your own needs therefore we are offering two books for loan:
- “A Selfish Pigs Guide to Caring” by Hugh Marriot, We have several copies available for Carers to loan on a long term basis. We hopw this book will to enable you to begin your journey with a clear(ish) head and have a laugh while you prepare yourself - even if this is the only step you take ... It’s still a step. - "The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time" by Mark Haddon. We hope the reading of this book will help Carers of people on the autistic spectrum. We currently have one copy available for loan. This is a fiction book that is easy to read, but it also offers great insight into the autistic mind. Please click to read a book review.
