Who we are

RNID is the largest charity working to change the world for the UK’s 9 million deaf and hard of hearing people.  We raise awareness of deafness and hearing loss, provide information and services, campaign and lobby, and supporting social, medical and technical research.

How carers can benefit from our services

We provide a wide range of services and training to individuals and organisations. We support deaf and hard of hearing people at home and at work, with help, advice, equipment and supported housing. We help businesses and organisations who want to improve their services and workplace.

Training Opportunities

We provide information, advice, deaf awareness training, disability awareness training and access audit services for organisations who are concerned about their staff and customers. We also provide help to individuals who are deaf or hard of hearing to improve their job prospects. We offer training in all areas of work with deaf people plus British Sign Language courses.
