4 Kids Who Care!

Spurgeons 4 Kids Who Care! is a Young Carers Project which is committed to delivering a service that:

Works with local services and community groups to raise awareness of Young Carers to improve professional knowledge and skills and help identify young carers in Birmingham
Provides a point of contact that children, young people, families and professionals can trust
Is friendly and approachable
Supports the young person with their caring role
Works with the young person within the context of the family
Is young people led
Is culturally sensitive

We are a city-wide service in Birmingham, offering Young Carer activity groups and fun. We also provide one-to-one support for Young Carers, family support, care plans and family conferences.

Who can Access this Service?

Are you aged 4-17 years and caring or supporting a family member with illness/disability/mental health problem/substance abuse?

Are you living in Birmingham at the same address as the care receiver?

If you have answered 'yes' to the above questions we may be able to help! If you are a Young Carer you may contact us directly on 0121 678 8847.
Also if you are someone who knows of a Young Carer you would like to refer to our service, please also contact us directly.
